Once again another early morning having to get up before 6AM. But to go enjoy the beauty of the ocean and Victoria, I'll lose a bit of sleep. Today we caught a 7 pound feeder spring, and had a great time.
It was amazing to see the amount of shipping & Pilot Boat traffic on this Saturday off of Victoria. I had multiple occasions to get a nice photo of a pilot boat.
The Victoria Pilot Boat service is located next to the Victoria Breakwater.
A Walk at Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary

Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary is an urban nature sanctuary in Victoria, Canada offering birdwatching, hiking and natural history programs. Its located in Saanich, and is surrounded by homes. If you want a short walk surrounded by wildlife look no further then Swan Lake.
For the children there is an educational nature center to learn about the environment and wildlife around the park. Unfortunately for my photos the day was overcast, but I had a good walk with the family.

The Gorge Rowing & Paddling Centre (GRPC) is located on the Gorge Waterway in Victoria, BC. Almost every day you can see rowers practicing on the Gorge Waterway.

It turns out on Christmas eve that not everyone is interested in spending quality time with their families. While I was enjoying some family time I happened to notice this guy racing up and down the street in his home made lazyboy motorbike, and I just couldn't pass up a photo for the blog.
